I am a condensed matter theorist working in the Institute of Theoretical Physics at University of Frankfurt. I received my PhD from Lancaster University, finished my habilitation at Frankfurt University, and was working at the Universities of Basel, Sheffield, and Birmingham. My research interests lie in spintronics, superconductivity, and decoherence in semiconductors. Currently I am working on the microscopic theory of correlated quantum systems, including strong correlations in one dimension.
