Dr. Andreas Rückriegel

About me

I am a condensed matter theorist working in the research group of Peter Kopietz at Frankfurt University. I received my PhD in 2016 from Frankfurt University for a work on magnon condensation and magnetoelastic interactions, also in the group of Peter Kopietz. Until Spring 2020 I was a postdoctoral researcher in the group of Rembert Duine at Utrecht University. Currently, the main focus of my reseach is on functional renormalization group methods for quantum spin systems. I have also worked on spintronics, which studies the transport properties of the magnetic degrees of freedom in solids.
