Deconfinement and EoS in QCD
Peter Petreczky (Brookhaven National Laboratory)
I will discuss the QCD equation of
state calculated on the lattice at zero and non-zero baryon
density as well as the fluctuations of conserved charges. It will
be shown that fluctuations of conserved
charges are sensitive probes of deconfinement. The deconfinement
transition will be also discussed in terms of screening of static
quarks.
