Eccentric
protons: the structure of multi-particle correlations
in high energy QCD
Raju Venugopalan (Brookhaven
National Laboratory)
We
describe a formalism to compute multi-particle
correlations in high energy QCD. The phenomenological consequences of
these for the ridge phenomenon in A+A collisions and in high
multiplicity p+p
and p+Pb collisions are discussed. Conversely, the implications of the
data for our understanding of rare QCD configurations will be explored.
