Charming strangeness in
matter
Laura Tolos
(IEEC/CSIC University of Barcelona)
I
will review the properties of strange and charm hadrons in nuclear
matter and nuclei. I will discuss different frameworks paying a special
attention to discuss unitarized coupled-channel approaches that take, as
bare interaction, chiral effective lagrangians and/or vector-meson
exchange models. I will also discuss possible experimental signatures of
the in-medium properties of those hadrons, in particular in connection
with the future FAIR facility.
