Create your own compact star

It is very easy to calculate properties of neutron, hybrid or quark stars.

All you need is ...

- the Equation of State of fundamental matter

- says you how matter behave under extreme conditions
- in the left frame you can see some examples of Equation of States. Some of them are more fundamental than others (for details look at the articles)
- you just need to choose one of them.

- a Computer code for the gravitational force

- it calculates for you how big the spacetime curvature is and binds your star (for details look at the articles).
- because of simplicity and calculation time we have choosen a nonrotating spherical symmetric compact star -- calculation-code.
- you just need to fix the central pressure inside the star (left frame)

After choosing your Equation of state and fixing the central pressure you can start running your calculation by pressing the OK button. A C++ -- Computer code will then start to calculate some properties of your star.

All calculations will be done on our Computer-Cluster System here in Frankfurt and not on your machine.
