Shear viscosity
and electric conductivity of QGP in transport theory
Armando Puglisi
(Catania University and INFN)
The
study of transport coefficients of strongly interacting matter has
generated a great interest in the research of heavy ion collisions at
relativistic energies. I will talk about shear viscosity and electric
conductivity of the Quark-Gluon Plasma in the framework of kinetic
theory, solving the relativistic transport Boltzmann equation in a
finite box with periodic boundary conditions. I will present the
dependence on microscopic details and a quasi-particle model prediction
for both transport coefficients.
