Physics of Transport Coefficients in the Quark Gluon Plasma

The transport coefficients of heavy quarks in the Quark Gluon Plasma are calculated keeping the momentum dependence. We have also investigated the scope of the lattice equation of state in this framework. These effects are observed in the nuclear modification factor of heavy quarks at RHIC and LHC. We have also introduced Hard Thermal Loop calculations in evaluating the drag and diffusion coefficients.
