Spin wave excitations in the s - f - model

The talk is about spin wave excitations in the conduction band of the s - f – model. The excitation energies are derived via the transverse susceptibility using the equation of motion method for green's functions and a diagrammatic perturbation series for low temperatures. The approximation used in both cases is the Random - Phase - Approximation (RPA) leading to an acoustical and optical spin wave branch.
